My name is Dr. Lindsey Johnstone, and I been a part of this practice since 2011. I began here during high school as a kennel assistant, then was promoted to lab assistant, and I stayed in the role until I went away for vet school. When I graduated in 2020, I spent almost a year working in a veterinary emergency room on Louisville. I learned a lot and am thankful every day for that experience, but in the end I realized it wasn’t a good fit for me long term. I came back to join the LVH team as a doctor in 2021 and knew immediately I had made the right choice. Here I have the freedom to practice what I feel is the best and evidence based medicine, I am provided with excellent resources and equipment to do so, I am given opportunities to challenge myself and learn new skills, and most importantly I have an incredible team behind me who are some of the most skilled, kind, and hardworking people I have ever met.
