Hi, I’m Rachel Hardin! I was born and raised in Mason, Ohio, and I’m so excited to return to Liberty Veterinary Hospital as a veterinarian after starting my career here as a veterinary assistant in 2019. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in American Sign Language from the University of Cincinnati and began graduate studies in Environmental Public Health before pursuing my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee.

Over the years, I’ve developed a passion for small animal internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and equine care. During veterinary school, I completed advanced clinical training in both small and large animal medicine, including small animal emergency and surgical care, equine reproduction, sports medicine, dentistry, and ambulatory practice. I also completed my certification in veterinary acupuncture through Chi University and hope to continue expanding my integrative medicine training in the future.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my 8-year-old Havanese, Raelyn, hiking, staying active in the gym, and getting lost in a good book. I feel incredibly fortunate to care for the pets and families in the community I’ve always called home, and I’m honored to treat your pets with the same love and attention I give my own.
