COVID-19 Pandemic Updates

May 28th, 2021

Dear valued pet parents,

Following the CDC and State of Ohio’s change in COVID guidance and safety procedures, LVH will be modifying our protocol as well. We are happy to announce that we will be allowing two people per doctor/tech appointment into the building with your furry friends as of June 2nd. We will, however, continue the “curbside/ call from the car” check-in process to assure that we do not exceed capacity on individuals in the building. Once you have checked in and talked with a technician concerning your visit you will be escorted into an exam room where we will be happy to care for your pet together with you. You will then be checked out while still in the exam room with your pet. This will avoid any unneeded congestion in the front lobby and allow you to go on your way without an extra stop. We will continue to do food, prescription pick-ups, boarding and grooming from the vestibule. Just call when you arrive in the lot.

For the safety of you and our staff, we require that you please wear a mask while in the building. The exam rooms are an enclosed space where adequate distancing is not possible. Also, for your safety, we will have hand sanitizer available and will continue routine disinfection of surfaces.

We so appreciate your continued patience, kindness and, understanding as we try to adjust to frequent standard changes. The community has been wonderfully supportive of LVH during this crazy pandemic year. We are so excited to see everyone in person again! I have had a few clients express that they liked the curbside service, and could we continue it: we will do whatever you prefer!

Warmest regards,
Dr. Amy Johnstone
