My name is Dr. Lindsey Johnstone, and I graduated from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2020. And yes, I am the niece of the owner, Dr. Amy Johnstone! I started working here when I was 17 years old as a kennel assistant, then a lab/treatment assistant, and during veterinary school I helped out during my spring and winter breaks. Now I am so excited to be back with the team I love so much as a doctor!
My greatest passions in veterinary medicine are surgery, promoting “fear free” patient handling, proper pain management, and client education. I love all creatures great and small, but I am known as a crazy cat lady at heart! I have one dog named Ramona, and two cats named Chip and Asmodeus.
In my free time I love to spend time hiking with my dog or attending live music or theater. I enjoy all kinds of arts and crafts, video games, reading, and playing piano.
